‘Thottarapuncha’ will be cultivable, the process has started.

To make Kochi Thotara Puncha fully arable, the Haritha Keralam Mission has started the steps to implement the action plan through the coordination of the three-tier panchayat governing bodies, agriculture department, padasekara samiti etc. State district level officials of Haritha Kerala Mission visited Thotara Puncha and directly asked the farmers about the problems of agriculture and irrigation. Then the office bearers of Patasekara Samiti of Puncha called a meeting of the ward members and the officials of the agriculture department of both panchayats at the Amballur gram panchayat office. To make Puncha fully cultivable, the Padasekara Samiti office-bearers presented the works to be done on an immediate and long-term basis in each padasekara. Then the ward members also spoke. Chairman of Thotara Puncha Development Committee TR Govindan described the current problems of Puncha. Panchayat President Biju Thomas presided over the meeting and the Agriculture Officer Bala Ajith welcomed the meeting. Ranjini S, District Coordinator of Haritha Keralam Mission and U.
