State level review meeting of Haritha Kerala Mission activities was held on 2nd and 3rd July 2024. The two-day full-time review meeting was held at Karakulam Grameena Patana Kendram, Thiruvananthapuram. State Coordinator of Navakeralam Karmapadhathi and Vice Chairperson of Haritha Keralam Mission Dr. T.N. Seema chaired the meeting. Progress of ongoing activities and campaigns, planning of new projects etc. were the main topics of discussion. The meeting assessed that the ongoing activities are progressing as planned. The meeting decided to complete them in a timely manner under the leadership of the local self-government bodies with the coordination of other departments. State level officials and district coordinators of Haritha Keralam Mission etc. attended the meeting. Separate presentation based on various campaigns and activities and discussions based on respective topics were held in the meeting.
On June 5,2024 the World Environment Day, a green islet (Pachathuruth) was launched at the Travancore Titanium Products Limited campus at Thiruvananthapuram under the leadership of the Haritha Kerala Mission. Dr. T. N. Seema, State Coordinator of Navkerala Karmapaddhati and vice chairperson of Haritha Keralam Mission, naugurated the project by planting tree sapling at the venue.
The Minister of Food and Civil Supplies inaugurated the World Environment Day celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram District organized at Mathanad Kavoram Veethi in Manikal Panchayat of Thiruvananthapuram in association with Haritha Keralam Mission. Haritha Kerala Mission State Coordinator Dr. TN Seema was the chief guest.
Planning Board Vice Chairman Dr. V.K. Ramachandran inaugurated the campaign activities organized as part of Navkeralam Karmapadhathi for Net Zero Emission activities at Vailoppilly Sanskriti Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram on 17 May 2023. A two-day workshop was also organized to review the initial work already done at the Local Self-Government level and to describe the experience. Navkeralam Karma Padhathi Stae Cordinator and Vice Chairperson of Harithakeralam Karma Padhathi , chaired the function.
Concluding the Harithakeralam Mission Neelakurinji Biodiversity Learning Festival which imparted new knowledge and experiences to the students. 59 students from 14 districts participated in the three-day camp which started at Adimali Neelakurinji Biodiversity Knowledge Center on the morning of 26th May 2024, in connection with World Biodiversity Day. The study festival was organized at Adimali and Munnar in Idukki district
