Agri clinic and distribution of Soil Health Card.

Under the leadership of Haritha Keralam Mission, distribution of soil health cards and Agri Clinic was organized to sugarcane farmers in Marayur and Kanthallur gram panchayat areas of Idukki. On 30 May 2024, 30 farmers participated in the Agriclinic held at Marayur Service Cooperative Bank Hall. Soil samples of 59 farmers were collected and tested as part of the soil testing camp started under the leadership of Harita Keralam Mission under the joint guidance of the State Soil Conservation Department and the State Agriculture Department in the sugarcane plantations of Marayoor and Kanthallur gram panchayat areas. Soil health card distribution and Agri Clinic were organized as a continuation of this program in collaboration with Marayur Gram Panchayat and Marayur Service Cooperative Bank. Haritha Keralam Mission Assistant Coordinator Sanjeev SU inaugurated the programme. Ramesh P, Deputy Director, Department of Soil survey and Soil Conservation, Devikulam ADA Johnson .M. S distributed the soil health card. Soil Survey Officer PV Ashida took a class on the test results. P. Ramesh, Deputy Director, Soil conservation Department, answered the doubts of the farmers. Haritha Keralam Mission Programme Officer Krishnakumar, Project Coordinator Liji, Project Associate Jishnu,  Marayoor Agriculture Officer Alan and Kanthallur Agriculture Officer Hubaib participated in the programme.
