The Gundika-Kadukkapalam stream, protected with coir geo textile, flows smoothly.

The Gundika-Kadukkapalam stream, which is joined by small streams originating from Muzhakunnu puralimala, flows smoothly. The stream is rejuvenated, and sides are protected with coir geo textiles.  It is a stream that once provided life-giving water to the cultivation of acres of fields from Mudakozhi to Katukappalam. As part of the Jalanjali-Nirurav campaign under the leadership of the Haritha Kerala Mission, the stream was rejuvenated to a suitable form for agriculture in association with MGNREGS.

Three years ago, under the leadership of the Haritha Kerala Mission, with the help of Muzhakunnu Gram Panchayat, farmers, farm workers, field owners and local people organized a 'stream walk' along the bank of the stream, and the plan was prepared to make the stream flow without any other obstacles and reclaim agriculture. Later the Peravoor Jalanjali project was merged with the 'Neeruravu' project, and the project was finalized as a model project in the block.
